  1. Regular car batteries are terrible, too, now. I live in the south & my 1 year old $150 "budget" car battery dies when temps drop below 40°F. I have to drive the car a few times a week to keep it charged. (The alternator works fine, it's the battery. The auto parts store guy said, "Yeah, car batteries are crap now. All we can do is replace it & credit you back the remaining 4 years of use that you lost.)

  2. Ironically, when electricity demand goes up, because enough people have switched to EVs, so will kilowatt costs. And gasoline prices will drop. The basic rules of supply & demand.

  3. Seeing EV PSAs in our state that target young people & tout amazing gasoline savings costs! 😃💵 Of course, they don't show these kids struggling to find affordable apartments after their parents kick them out for running up hundreds of dollars in electric bills. 📄_😡?!!
