Serendipitous timing - can't have multi-story condo buildings collapsing around the country...)

@totallyjonesin I know. But the horror punctuating the infrastructure bill congress passed is interesting all the same. (There are & have been thousands of beachfront condos & hotels with parking garages along the southeast coast. Many of them will now need closer inspection & possible extensive repairs & maintenance. Which is extremely expensive. If building owners can't afford it they'll either have to sell the properties or abandon them. The majority of repair costs are generally paid for by residents who may have to move out if they can't afford them. Within all of this possible turmoil there will be major money diversions, overcharging & infrastructure grift from the top down. Much of it involving roundabout federal aid loans & grants. The same justifications will be used to fix privately owned inner city building properties as well. Just under different causes of structural instability. Nothing new. Watch & see.)
