Republican congress didn't want Trump in office in 2016 & they still don't - but they need him, as a Republican candidate, to boost their lackluster do-nothing image. More & more I wish our country would develop a legitimately moderate 3rd party based on common sense & proven good performance that benefits the majority of Americans from all backgrounds. Under Trump, we came very close to having that & wrecking-ball Biden & D/R Congress tore it all to pieces within a year. Like Pelosi tearing up Trump's speech.
