  1. The problem isn't churches helping homeless/struggling people - it's the fact that these vulnerable people, & sympathetic churches, draw criminals that prey on them. Drug sales, petty robbery, a multitude of perverse crimes. Which quickly spreads to the surrounding communities. As far as Christians go, yes they can be very "selectively" kind & charitable. And not very bright about recognizing their own hypocrisy. Maybe they believe their belly buttons are God's gift of an On-Off button.

  2. ​@Styxswimmer Defending & protecting your country; our country, from monsters is brave & honorable. 🇺🇸 Being ordered to become another country's monster typically is not. 🏴‍☠️ But once a kid signs the enlistment contract they literally become govt property. To which they can be used pretty much any way the govt chooses. Having witnessed the messed-up minds of a few returning soldiers, I wish young people would 100% understand the contractual agreement & risks before signing up. They can still work to be all that they can be, in America, without having to risk being needlessly destroyed or destroying others.
