Almost lost a good friend over a similar argument. They're a staunch southern Baptist Christian who believe if you don't know & accept God & Jesus as your saviors, you're going to Hell - period. I argued, what about tribespeople who live very isolated lives? Those that love & care for each other; share the food they forage & hunt together? And who don't steal each others belongings & spouses? They're basically living wholesome & kind Christ-like lives. But you're telling me they're damned to Hell regardless? Simply because missionaries with Bibles can't physically reach them? Why? What kind of God would punish good people like that? To which they exploded - Yes!! And it doesn't matter! It's what happens when people don't know or believe in God & Jesus!!" 😳?! Later they told me we couldn't be friends anymore if I continued to question their faith. Fair enough. I dropped the subject forever after. Out of respect for them. But their illogical & hypocritical indoctrination thoughts also drove me away from ever wanting to join any organized religious church. Better to think for yourself, as usual.

You say this perfectly. I just left a similar but more winded comment. Having experienced the operating table thing a few times. It's both enlightenment & peace, but also makes you very aware of evil, esp in others. Somehow there's a rebirth & your eyes are suddenly opened to seeing & sensing it. (Which is very biblical, in a sense, eg the garden of Eden story.)

@ravensnflies8167 Agree with this 100%. Very few people will argue that the brain & body generates & runs on energy - but tell them this energy is absorbed by, or carried through the atmospheric wavelengths or currents when you die & they think you're nuts. I see no reason whatsoever why this couldn't happen.

No, no fear of damnation. But I know people who do fear it - because they've done awful things to others & they're terrified of spiritual retribution. (And maybe they should be. "Purgatory" exists, it's a very strange in-between state of existence. Both warm & beautiful with amazing glowing light, but also troubling, dark & foreboding. You may also briefly meet the dead here, including strangers asking for your help. Whether it's just the ramblings of a dying brain, or not, your life isn't the same afterwards. And not necessarily for the better. Your eyes are opened to bad things you never noticed before & equally troubling new experiences you can't quite explain. Interestingly, when comparing notes, these things are a universal commonality for people who've teetered on the edge but didn't go over. You really do believe you're nuts, at first, then slowly you realize there is actually another side of existence, outside of your earthbound bodily existence. And fear is no more.)
