  1. When we have confidence that foreign armies & others will support us when there's political/war trouble, we can easily demand peace, peace, peace! Unfortunately, Israel has never had or felt that kind of total support, security & protection from the US. And most other nations. Because support for Israel varies from administration to administration. Sometimes they're given generous aid; sometimes minimally. And so, they mostly have to hold their own against the unexpected. This independent streak scares the cr@p out of the world because we can all possibly be endangered by it, true. But it is kinda ironic when Americans gang up on Israel about this streak, considering we're the land of independence. We talk a big game but when we see it in action elsewhere, it's oh sh... 😬
