  2. Decades ago they were a worthwhile & protective workers organization. They went to Hell, gaining too much power & control. What corruption does. And govt interference, legislating what Unions can do & not do. (I remember Ames, shopped there many times. Similar to K-Mart. Also remember Caldor, Bradlees & the older smaller but comfortable Woolworths - all also gone. Charmless WM & "Dollar" named stores & online shopping have pretty much taken over retail.)
