From a purely business point, this bill was bad. Imagine being a goods or food supplier to Israel & losing truckloads or containers of products confiscated, delayed or stolen by Israel's enemies? Which are many in the region. You lose profits, along with having to pay higher insurance rates to cover the extreme risk & potential losses. But due to law, you must continue doing business this way, regardless. (🤔?) Maybe there was an addendum releasing suppliers from contracts in these cases. Common sense would say so. Then again, it's DC. 🙄
