@Omniscient_ Turnip Yes, the idea is to rid police forces of decent honest cops & replace them with easily bought & influenced militants who will intimidate & harm innocent citizens whenever the government orders it. Communist doctrine & control.

Thought it was clear too - sequestered or not, active jurists are forbidden from discussing or being informed about public opinion outside the courtroom. If they were told, or inquired on their own, then the verdict should be overturned on appeal. (Reckless manslaughter, can see that, yes. Deliberate murder? Unless Chauvin had a history of threatening to *ill criminals in or out of his charge, don't see it.)

@kdrapertrucker True, but having a bad boss doesn't mean all the employees are bad too. Albeit, there's always one or two butt kissing lackeys who will do the boss's bidding, no questions asked. They don't care either, they just want to get ahead. 💰
