  1. Any chicken & meats that can be released from shipping ports might be bought by unscrupulous pet food companies. Seriously, something to consider. One of our local grocery store chains has run bare of canned cat food & employees don't know when more will arrive - completely empty shelves. (And some recent "high quality" generic dry food made my little dude pretty sick, bathroom & vomiting problems. Product of USA too. Dumped it & bought a bag of the good veterinary approved stuff & he's fine now.) All just a reminder to look out for your cat & dog's needs. (This insane *govt is leveraging kids health against parents & the public, for control, so logically pet health issues being next is possible. Also, agree, never underestimate uncaring greedy mgmt heads using ingredient shortages to gouge prices & to screw with production to boost demand. Regardless of Govt finger wagging & threats. Most food companies don't operate this way, thankfully. But reality also says there are always a few seriously bad mgmt heads who will capitalize off consumer misery in every sector.
