  1. Apparently, many new cars have long distance remote activated engine locks. 🔒 Miss a car payment? The lender can lock you out of starting & driving the car. The sellers tell car buyers the system is installed to prevent car thefts but obviously this isn't entirely true. (Worse, car buyers have the privilege of paying a mandatory yearly subscription fee for this added security lock-out service. The dealers get buyers coming & going. 😑👎)
