  1. The big deal move aware people can do is pretty obvious - make a point of opting for non-Chinese products whenever possible. Stop shopping stores & on-line retailers pushing mostly Chinese made goods. When the impulse to buy some cheap crap hits you, wait. You'll likely realize you don't need it afterall. Or that you can buy it second-hand or substitute something else. The past year I've pared down, dumped stuff & created things I need (& still sometimes want) & it's been a great reality exercise. Addictive, actually.

  2. Such a strike & invasion by China would likely start WWIII. How lucky does China feel right now? With a majority of its citizens mentally & physically weakend by covid & several good-size cities damaged by floods? But this might be the time for the world to step up & be proactive vs reactive to China's bullying while they're vulnerable. Unfortunately a weak Biden admin is still cowering & covering Ping-a-ling for some godforsaken reason. Something bigger than US national security. But if Biden & his flunkies can be legally ousted, China loses a major alli & still some major political persuasion over the world. And will likely back down, for now. (Meaning, the call for Biden & friends to go has to be worldwide, not just US based. Very certain there are more than just 10-20 thousand Americans stranded in Afghanistan right now - our allies have people there too. Biden admin's reckless actions aren't sitting well with them either.)
