  1.  Clarence Spangle  I don't know all of the details but the Russians invaded Afghanistan first (?) with plans to take the region. Much tougher than expected & they went home. It was Russia's "Vietnam", of sorts.)

  4. Yes, remember the 70's & waiting in blocks long car lines with my parents to buy expensive gas. And them barely able to afford heating oil & groceries too. Everything was affected by the oil shortage, including transport of goods. The chronic stress & money arguments over affording the most basic of needs nearly destroyed their marriage. Also remember horrific Israeli-Palestiniannian conflicts broadcasting constantly on TV too & wondering why? Can honestly say I thoroughly despise Biden & all of his criminal crooked flunkies & I'm not a person who hates anyone.
