  3. What a great funny story! 😂 Had nearly the same experience with an obese tabby (but not nearly this big!) & he was the most loveable, protective & wonderful pet I ever cared for. Sadly, nobody wanted him because he was so huge & the shelter ladies pleaded with me to take him because he was so sweet & affectionate. But honestly, I was aghast by his appearance too. Then immediately fell in love with him when he jumped into my arms, hugged my neck & nuzzled my face like he'd known me forever. Anyway, with a good diet & lots of play, he lost about 1/3 of his weight & no longer made me stagger & fall over when he lept into my arms, lol :)
