  1. This was an excellent explanation. It tells why Gaza's neighbors haven't taken steps to "liberate" Palestinians, in the past. Which makes Lebanon's current border skirmishes with Israel a bit baffling. If not hypocritical. 🤔

  2. @WithTwoFlakes  Thank you (!) very much for taking the time to explain this - greatly appreciate it & understand. Growing up, I remember seeing Lebanon/Beirut war news on TV constantly. PLO problems, too. It was awful, yes. Some things just stick in your mind forever. There's a message here about countries not being discerning enough re the declared violent mindsets of some people they allow in & the likely future repercussions. I don't know why innocent citizens have to die before govts realize their mistake. After a while, you have to assume they're complicit in it, sadly.
