  1. Agree completely. I live in a mostly senior community & several times a month ambulances come & go. Often later followed by an HOA, "Sad news..." email to all residents. It's very depressing.

  2. High School? You're not kidding. Wise advice. If your husband or boyfriend has a pulse & can still drive & walk - watch out ladies. He will be approached by sneaky devious widows looking for a man. Leaving you warily fending off neighbor women & fake friends using you to get to him. I live among senior citizens, in a mostly retiree community, & my mind is constantly blown by the mean childish & sadly destructive things some older women do to other women, out of lonliness or financial hardship. Its a shame but there are still snakes in the grass at this later age - just be aware & tread wisely. (Also agree about the static stale atmosphere of retirement communities. There's something comforting & pleasant in the sound of children playing. It's something I really miss where I now live - a sense of normalcy, life & fun.)

  3. Mental stress definitely plays into this. When you pay off your home, you need to have the best deed-theft protection you can manage. And keep an eye on it forever. It's one reason why I haven't rushed to pay off my mortgage. (Which is very low now.) As long as the bank holds the deed, it's a bit harder for thieves to steal the property without the bank being notified. All that changes when your home is paid off & the bank is no longer in the picture. That said, finally paying off your home should be a very happy time - & not an event where you're replacing one important worry & responsibility with another.

  5. Hide your phone in your car when you shop. This way digital label systems can't detect your presence in the store. (Also, how on earth can people in crowded store aisles not see prices blipping & flipping lower to higher as they pass? I think the price confusion & anger will lead to horrendous sales losses if WM attempts this. Then again, what else is new with WM?) (Unless he's referring to app pricing vs store pricing, only? I'm admittedly confused. 😕)
