You’re the idiot if you think she sets the policy and has final production decision making authority over what airs on a newscast in a major market TV station. A purpose of violent crime news is to alert us to beware of danger to ourselves in our community. Suicide is a personal mental health issue. She posed no public risk unless she landed on someone at the bottom of the bridge. Watch PBS or local public access channels if you dislike TV coverage of violent crime. Nobody forced you to click on this video.
