I lived down there in the late 1990’s. My neighbor asked me to buy cigs for her once at that Wawa. A bum held the door for me and asked me for change. I knew I had some dimes and nickels in one pocket. I accidentally reached into my other pocket which only had 3 pennies and gave them to the guy. After I bought the cigs, the same bum opened the door for me again on my way out and again asked me for change. My neighbor intervened. She yelled for me not to give him anything. She explained that she had seen the guy had thrown the pennies onto the ground after I had entered the store. Apparently she had gotten into it with him while I was inside. He said to her, “I said I was sorry!” LOL.
