  2.  @bwofficial1776  , that term puzzled me also. I interpreted it as street slang for drivers of vehicles of 4 or more wheels. I assume he is referring to the passenger compartment of cars & trucks as “cages” as a metaphor in contrast to the breezy freedom he feels on a motorcycle.
