0:43. Graduated Temple two months ago and still elected to live near campus in the jungle. She should have taken an elective in “Common Sense.” Kids, you assumed the risk when you decided to attend Temple. In the 1980’s, Hofstra University accepted my application for grad school. I fantasized about attending Flyers-Islanders games at nearby Nassau Coliseum. I drove up for a campus visit. I was surprised to observe Hempstead, Long Island was a slum. I forfeited my deposit and attended Penn State instead. These are real world choices.

@@gp7414 , well, I never met Sandusky. I suppose I was safe and too old for him. I sold off all my PSU merchandise and even my yearbook after that hit the fan. Really embarrassing. However, I concede PSU provided me with a good education. I skipped a year and saved a lot in tuition. I used to be smart back then, lol. YMMV.

@WALTERBROADDUS , I was a contractor with St. Joe’s from 2012-2022. There were major crimes in that neighborhood once or twice a year, much less than Temple area.

@WALTERBROADDUS , I wasn’t considering school reports. I was considering news reports coupled with my personal experiences of occasional observation of Wynnefield police investigations/ road blockages during my work there. Wynnefield is not Shangri-La but it’s safer than North Philly IMO.
