Many conservative parties have failed to take responsibility for ensuring the wellbeing of their societies. Instead of tackling the root causes of poverty, they have chosen to ignore the issue and have focused their efforts on minimizing the effects of it. This has resulted in a steady increase in relative poverty, making it more and more difficult for those in need to access basic services and resources. This situation is further compounded by the high levels of gun violence in many countries, which has been linked to the availability of firearms and the inadequate regulation of gun ownership. Conservative parties have done little to address these issues, with the majority of their efforts being focused on tightening gun laws and increasing the severity of punishments for those who break them. This has done little to reduce the levels of gun violence and has failed to address the underlying causes of poverty that are so prevalent in many countries.
