Sadly heartless people killed the American dream, now it's an American nightmare. Where the gap between the rich and poor continues to widen. However, by promoting empathy and social responsibility, we can work towards creating a society where everyone has equal opportunities to succeed and thrive. It starts with each of us making a conscious effort to shift our mindset towards one that values kindness and fairness over greed and self-interest.
