Why was Hutch arrested in Spain and not in Ireland on money laundering - then when he is released he almost immediately announces he is running - I smell fish...! My feeling is that he was coerced into running in order to derail Malachy Steensons campaign - and he did - Hutch 13% - Steensn 6% of 1st preference votes - So you have to ask yourself why he would do this considering the voters of Dublin Central had a good candidate in Steenson who has consistently stood up for his community....! Hutch was very likely threatened with CAB and the fact his arrest took place in Spain would suggest he was at risk of losing his property and any assets he had there - and it would all go away if he played ball with Drew Harris's henchmen....! Hutch is a parasite and a traitor of the highest order - he sold out his own community to save his holiday home....!
