  1. 5,000 tons of ore has to be processed to obtain the lithium for one EV battery - it takes 1,000 gallons of diesel on avg to transport that ore to the refinery - an average family car would take 4 or 5 years to use that amount of fuel - an EV battery will have a lifespan of 6 to 8 years - This is insanity - solving problems with solutions that don't exist - for a problem that doesn't exist....!
