  1. I’d like to point out that castration aka gelding is the removal of the testes only. This is not the same as emasculation, which removes the penis, too. Historically, eunuchs were castrated; prisoners of war were humiliated and executed by emasculation.

  2. Because someone, somewhere, not only wanted to remove the LGBs from the equation, but also considered any young person suffering from mental health issues (or autism) should not be allowed to pass these on to the next generation. Basically, it’s old-fashioned eugenics.
