  3. What you’re seeing is the abusive mentality in operation. The abuser will do anything to break a victim into retaliating (which includes, btw, politely asking for the intimidation to stop), then scream and tantrum about how they're being victimised. Unfortunately, an awful lot of people (referred to as Flying Monkeys) rush to soothe the poor abuser and then victimise the victim further. These tactics are the same whether it’s DV or whole nations under attack. Our “peaceful friends” are playing the same game.
