  1. Our local Caribbean Carnival was not just cancelled but totally banned this year. No explanation. However, all left-minded DEI specialists will be happy to know that the Pride Parade - carefully shelved in June because election - is running on the 31st of August. It’s said to be bigger and better, and it’s crippling the entire city for most of the day.
