Didn’t always work out though: the Bent Pyramid is an interesting example of the designers getting the sums wrong. The limestone Giza plateau has lasted because the (relatively) modern rainfall is so low.

  4. @kaltaron1284 Homer is fairly graphic but it depends on the translation. I've never read The Illiad or The Odyessy in the original as I have very little (Clasical) Greek.
