If someone (not jokingly) tells you they know what you’re thinking, they’re an abuser out to re/establish control, to give themself permission to intimidate or assault. Weak bullies daren’t try that, so they make up false allegations or get offended, reporting to the authorities/a bigger bully, then gloat over the results.
