  2. I wouldn’t offer. I’d tell the Free Palestine protestors that I was so impressed by their zeal that I’ve transport ready for them to go fight the good fight on the ground. I’d tell them they’re stunning and brave as I waved them goodbye. After all, a lot of non-Spanish went to fight in the Spanish Civil War as they passionately believed in the political stance of the side they supported.

  3. My eldest son has neither driving licence nor passport, and refused to get temporary voting ID online. As he said, anyone can get fake documents and submit a fake photograph, so he didn’t want to be mixed up in it. He also pointed out that a lot of elderly Brits don’t hold a driving licence or passport, nor use computers, and might not wish the bother of going to their local council HQ (do you blame them?). This, he said, effectively disenfranchised them. Before you blame the non-voters, ask yourself the reason they didn’t vote, because it isn’t always apathy.
