@gi7685 there’s a lot of legitimate history behind men ‘performing’ as women with origins in religious beliefs and theatre. A female impersonator is like a jester, able to say things that a woman might need to say, but can’t. True drag is an extension of that. These cross-dressing men are taking advantage of the tradition in order to act outrageously, sexually and wholly inappropriately.
