  2.  @clint4951  that’s perspicacious: in the recent past, rebellious youth were Mods and Rockers, joined Goth culture and became Punks. A lot grew up and out of that phase, the remainder staying lifelong fans (and good for them, I say!). Right now, young people have nothing but being trans or of questionable gender. The New Romantics did it much better! I blame the rather lax music scene and the lack of cult teen movies.

  3. I’ve never before encountered so many young people with anxiety, depression, social disaffection disorders or diagnoses of variations of letters like BPD, ADHD and PTSD. Mind you, I’ve never before encountered so many lethargic snowflakes who expect their every demand to be met NOW! and parents who won’t or can’t stand up to them. It’s like an influx of Veruca Salts.
