  1. Remember, for the longest time, every instance of bullying has been deemed the victim’s fault for letting it happen but, if the victim turns on the bully, the victim is punished. These poor children don’t stand a chance when the bully is the school itself.

  2. Here in the UK, we have a programme referred to as Safeguarding. This is an overarching term about managing and mitigating risk to vulnerable children and adults; it specifically covers all forms of potential abuse, peer-on-peer pressure, exploitation and radicalisation. Surely the US has something similar?
