  1. The “aging population” theory is dear to Leftwhinge hearts (or kidneys; I’m not sure Lefties have hearts). It underpins all their social modification plans e.g. multiculturalism, and fits their Cult of Youth ideal. It’s also based on the concept of humans evolving into sickly immortals as they age.
