  3. After three years of uncertainty, my eldest son was diagnosed with Reynauld’s based on the fact that his swollen hands hurt in cold weather! It’s taken another four years to get his symptoms reviewed. I have suspected Cushing’s syndrome (probably a pituitary tumour) from the get-go, but I’m not a doctor so what would I know? He’s been unable to work for nearly six years; he’s 27….
