Here’s a late comment: Speaking as a neo-feminist, one of the real ones who believes in the rights of women and children to be protected from exploitation and sexual abuse, I see the Patriarchal dinosaur in the closet. It’s all about what men want and we’re supposed to cheer them on willingly or be forced to comply by threats and intimidation. It seems those with a massive sense of entitlement, a core component of the abusive mindset, have realised that handing out emotional and psychological abuse is best, because physical injuries may heal - except where a woman or child is unlifed - but mental suffering is forever and they get to gloat over it without experiencing any of the guilt they might about physical violence. I do feel immense sadness for those men and women who married to try to deny that they were gay and who are now being led down the primrose path. I feel for their families, because the only help being offered such men and women is alienating transgender affirmation and surgery - they’re not ‘allowed’ to be just gay.
