Late comment: it’s more likely that these strong female heroes - NB not heroines - are being used to undermine the ideal of the male Hero Archetype, a mainstay of mythological-based storytelling. They’re cyphers no one wants to emulate who incidentally smoosh up good and evil and have highly-questionable morals. Basically, they’re the first moves in a calculated war meant to weaken and destroy the shared commonality of Western societies. It ain’t feminism!
