Basically, the numbers of the poor must be controlled by government and/or church intervention in order that they not exceed the availability of the food supply. Actively discouraging marriage and promoting celibacy is a bit old hat today, so we have transgenderism (voluntary neutering) and shows like this, where men in particular can see how dumb women are while simultaneously being exploited for their hard-earned money and, at the same time, not engaging with real women!
