  3. It’s not just the Catholic Church, though. Other organised religions have committed - are are commuting - crimes of a similar nature, just as were and are organised political groups. Fundamentally, it’s proof that there are many humans who lack an ounce of humanity.

  5. In the Middle Ages, the figure of Joseph was mocked for being cuckolded by God. During mystery plays, the cuckold gesture - forefinger and pinky held out, other fingers and thumb closed - was made in his direction. They had a more… robust approach the matter.
