  6. We could be looking at an outbreak of poliomyelitis, but the WHO declared that completely eradicated in China in 2000... unless the CCP lied? Otherwise, it could be widespread botulism linked to a common foodstuff. I sincerely hope it isn't anthrax which can also be spread by contaminated food resources. I'd be surprised if it is HIV.
