  1. @beewest5704 are you in the UK? My ex, newly diagnosed with diabetes (by the doctor; he’d had symptoms for a long time but ignored my advice…) got a dietary advice booklet which repeated the fake food pyramid ad infinitum.

  2. Heart disease has long been recognised as a common cause of death, just as diabetes has, just as asthma has, just as obesity has, just as… well, infection has. Ffs, there are Ancient Egypt medical texts recording heart disease symptoms and medicines/magic, and we have autopsied mummies!
