  2. This is all about controlling the written word in the same way these politically-motived yahoos are attempting to control the spoken language, most especially English. Remember Orwell's 1984: Newspeak is a controlled language of simplified grammar and restricted vocabulary designed to limit the individual's ability to think and articulate "subversive" concepts such as personal identity, self-expression, and free will. It's immoral.
