  3. Please: in Great Britain, owning a gun was a privilege not a right. The public did NOT have their guns taken away after Dunblane, because they had none! To this day, we have rigorous checks in place before a gun licence is issued. Usually, farmers and gamekeepers still have the guns they need to manage estates. This fiction must stop, as must the fiction that the king has power to dissolve parliament.

  11.  @sunnyjim1355  English law used to demand that every man practice at the butts every weekend. This became obselete when firearms were introduced, but not in place of bows. No law was introduced to enable everyone to own a gun. Costly kit, guns.
