  1.  @cristsan4171  rabbit was a cheap meal option and often served with potatoes. Sadly, a diet of rabbit is very bad for the health but the potatoes were given the blame!

  2. I avoid peppers and tomatoes but I can eat potato providing I limit the amount. Having a dietry intolerence to Nightshades, they really do 'poison' me!.

  3. My mother used to make variations of this receipt, using leftover beef or lamb, shallow-fying the balls and calling them 'rissoles'. The herbs varied according to what was available and she would substitute carrot for onion. I still have the family antique meat grinder, original box, clamp and all.
