  1. Oh, dear. Oh, dear. Our armed forces are so weak. No weapons. No resources. No men, and the men we have are all Woke. Oh, dear. Did you know that, before Sun Tzu’s (atttubuted) Art of War was translated into European languages, a certain Machiavelli wrote a treatise of the same title? Dear Niccolo points out that war is the last resort should politics fail, so it’s always best to keep your cards, as it were, close to your chest.

  5. @davidlucas6701 exactly. The only country lagging behind the rest of the West in terms of the - let us call it - Woke Agenda, was Britain. That we’ve been forced to catch up so rapidly and so obviously is not an accident. And now the Labour Party is repeating the same hand-wringing, concessionary, sabre rattling, money-squandering, denial of reality logic espoused by the US Democrats while in office. I still wonder how both of these political groups gained power… Now the US Republicans are in office. They set up investigations and cut USAID, and the EU, among others, went crazy. Pay attention. There are more ways to fight, and win, a war.
