Your research ability is excellent. I thought that I had seen every video out there but you've found stuff that I've never seen before.

Thanks a lot, Cortez.

Interesting, but strangely upbeat music with all of the tragedy.
38
Well, you certainly did not disappoint. Replaying many of them in slow motion was greatly appreciated.

I believe the second clip was of the Fukushima Nuclear Plant. In the third clip, if only they had built the sea wall 20 feet higher, it might have made a difference. Sadly, the land all along the eastern shoreline fell by around 5 feet in elevation during the quake.

This is what every quake is like: the lighter shaking from the Primary Wave and then the harder Secondary Wave which passes by briefly only to continue shaking not as hard but still a bit longer. These are some hard shakes, and scenes I've never seen before. In the Narita Airport, those poor people had to give up their delicious soup. Oh, that was cool seeing the dust clear and then seeing the damage afterward.

I've not seen the Fukushima Quake before. Interesting.
7
Jeesh people. It's just lightning.
7
There were three main waves, the second one was the largest, although the first was the most destructive. I'm happy that if it had to happen it happened during the middle of the day, and that the Japanese people loved to photograph stuff. However, this particular town had a really boring wave. Twelve minutes of nothing.
7
It also looked like some ants died in the making of this movie. They veered into the solution itself and drowned. I think that lifeguards should have been posted, at the very least.
7
Did these people forget that they don't know how to dive? They must all be drunk.
6
I haven't seen any of these floods before. Well researched, indeed. The ten minutes went very quickly so interesting was the subject.
6
This was great, the way that it included all the old reliables showing the Japan quake. And the Chile quake was a great plus as a comparison between the intensity of 9.! and a mere 8.4. I couldn't tell much difference myself.
4
These are the BEST lightning strikes I have EVER seen!!!
4
There's nothing "holy" about Lightning and its Thunder.
4
Agreed. Some of the best I've seen.
3
Some of these machines haven't much in the way of protective shields. I wonder how many hands or fingers or eyes were lost in the use of these things. No criticism of the channel owner, however.
3
They need heavier Cat 980M's.

How cool!!! I love to see things burn. Flames are my friend. I'd be there for hours, just to see things be destroyed. But, shouldn't they be aiming the streams of water at the base of the flames? They aren't going to put anything out the way they are doing it there.

Coal was thought by the American railroads to be the panacea of their business and so they then built expensive multiple tracks to move all the coal on. Then, after about two years, the business crashed because Natural Gas became so much more popular because of its lower cost. (God. That's a LONG train.) So now, train companies are really feeling the pinch. The CN train was beautifully shot, although the photographer should have used a tripod. Those long trains are generally between 100 and 120 cars long and sometimes, when a hose or a brake shoe breaks, the conductor has to walk the entire train length to find out what is wrong and then fix it on the hoof. Another fun video.

I LOVED the jungle music that you included. What a GREAT lightning storm. A memorial trip all around!
3
A pleasant beach survey and a lovely yellow sun to admire. The beach was so clean compared ours here in America. I heard birds at the beginning. Were they in the song playing or from the field? Thanks for pointing out where you were located as the pilot. That's is quite a range. Yes, the music was well-chosen, too. And you included the music list which hardly anybody does even though people constantly ask about it. Stupid bird!

Really impressive sights. Talk about exciting jobs!

I pity any other country thinking of taking America on.
2
@clivehorridge A large meteor strike hitting Tokyo at the same time would've been better, but we all have to be satisfied with Nature's gifts, no matter how limited.
2
And the largest quake ever recorded by mankind.
2
A nice crop of new videos of the experience while atop the tramway.
2
I feel some sadness at seeing this because the big trees took so long to grow. I guess I'm just too sentimental about the subject.
2
But YouTube has yet to answer why it is that the cow seems never to be struck. And isn't it weird how a bolt will folow exactly the same pathway several times in a row?
2
Thank you for mentioning my name, sir. Before you were just an unknown channel owner but now that you have a voice I'll need to be much more polite when writing in the comment section. I'm sorry if I was ever too abrupt. I feel some regret now. That field was actually quite interesting, even as it was the last time. I was curious if the monkeys were still stealing from your plants. I also must investigate those links you provided. Thank you for them. Good luck with your own investment endeavors when using them.

Now I don't have to visit the Falls because I've already been there. I was thinking that flowing lava, especially as it overcame buildings, might be interesting to view.
2
Okay, now that they are are all fed and stuff, won't they just go out and kill everything alive that gets too close to their hive, without warning? I kind of think that's what they do for a living.
2
I think so. How cool, in a way.
2
I would appreciate such a video, as I know nothing about the subject. And thank you for revealing yourself.
2
In places like Peru and Mexico and Egypt there are monuments that use stones every bit as big as what is shown here (and even larger) that were moved tens of miles to their final resting places. They MUST have have had this kind of high technology to have done so.

A clue? You mean the fact that we spend nearly three times every year for weapons and soldiers than every other country in the world COMBINED with our budget of nearly 600 Billion dollars? You mean the fact that out of a nation with 310 million population there are more guns to use against an invading enemy than there are people by a ratio of 2.5 to 1? Or the fact that we have 33 submarines located around the world in secret locations that EACH carry enough atomic weapons to destroy 35 or more capital cities and/or military installations at the President's command (assuming he's one of the sane ones)? And the fact that we have 19 (count them) aircraft carriers to Russia's one antiquated version and China's one brand new one? A clue, dude. Yes, I think that I have a clue. Maybe you should get one yourself!

We won Iraq quite easily, but since we aren't conquerors we gave it back to a freedom-loving government. Then, they lost it. Same with Afganistan. Except for a few advisors, we have left both countries after giving them democracy over tyranny.

Ed s As soon as I understand what you are trying to say I can then respond.
1
Ed s what you are complaining about is America's awesome economy, greater than that of any other country's of the world. Those items made in China that you hate so much are made, in large part, by American companies located there. Apple is one example of that but there are hundreds of other examples that I could list. It's the same with Mexico, of course. Many of our cars are made there. America...the GREATEST COUNTRY OF ALL!!!

You asked for a suggestion, so quakes are a special delight for me. I have the best Sendai quake of 2011 that I've ever found that I could show you or lend to you. Let me explore what is possible. You'll be amazed when you see it. Although, the video needs to be clipped because for about 5 minutes it just shows the guy driving after the quake. Personally, I have a Cone of Boredom that always surrounds me, preventing any acts of nature from being exciting where I happen to be. Nothing that you've shown before would have been possible had I been around. That fire tornado was righteous. I never knew that that was possible. The title is 東日本大震災 地震の瞬間 宮城県多賀城市 国道45 and Cyata37 is the owner.
1
Another type of experience that I will never have, so thank you for educating me.
1
And they all drowned and died...May they rest in peace with the fishes.
1
A really nice selection of train views.
1
Well, I learned how fire tornados were formed. Now I know. That theme keeps repeating with the avalanche segment. Jeese, people, there's more to it than just that portion. Oh, well, anyway. In the Alaska segment the trees still look green. How can they still burn with such ferocity? I have never been in a hurricane or a tornado, and I want to be. Sadly, the Northwest never seems to get them. It would be so exciting.

That poor guy. He retained consciousness, though.

I liked the music. The chain cleaner was my favorite.
1
Hardly.

I know what you said before but all the while I was screaming in my mind, " RUN, BEFORE THEY SWARM YOU AND REDUCE YOU TO JUST A SWOLLEN BAG OF BONES!!!!! But they never did. Shock and surprise. Well, good. I'm glad you aren't just a swollen bag of bones as you read this and I am now a believer in the friendliness of our bee buddy the African Killer Bee.

@pachecoromerobelen2886 If you say so.

That 2000 foot long ladder was too much!
