@jeffreycarman2185
Some samples of LAST 20 years:
Nigeria vs Boko Haram 350,000 dead
Sudan vs JEM/Darfur 300,000 dead
Yemen vs Houthis 233,000 dead
Pakistan vs Islamists 50,000 dead
Syria's civil war 400,000 dead
South Sudan's civil war 400,000 dead
Ethiopia and Eritrea vs Tigray 600,000 dead
No protests for all these dead.
It is not about people in Gaza,
it is about who excites and organizes these protests and for what gain and whose and what interests.
We should question why and how gaza gets so much coverage vs. all the others, Is it lazy media? is someone pumping the media? Is someone controlling paid media? Is it simply the convenience of reporting from Tel Aviv vs reporting from Darfur?
We should also question the validity of numbers which come from Hamas, how many are of natural causes (6000-8000 would be a typically expected number), how many are Hamas/Jihad members (IDF says 12000), how many self inflicted (5-10% of the 12000 is typical), how many civilian due to misfire (e.g. 500 in Al Shifa).

@rollingknuckleball
The old community of Jews that used to live in Gaza perished in Islamist riots of 1929, concurrent with dozens of other communities, the massacre in Hebron was documented, you can see the photos of that ISIS style massacre in archives of the NYT. Photos like the gut churning photos of the massacre of Oct. 7 only in black and white.
*In 1929 the massacres were committed mostly by mobs.
1929 is
19 years before the reinstitution of Israel,
38 years before Israel took Gaza strip from Egypt,
37 years before the process of appropriating the title Palestinians by Arabs has even started.
It is a majority vs. minorities conflict.
The middle east Arab Islamic majority cannot accept the existence of an independent state of a minority, be it of Maronites, Assyrians, Druze or others, especially of Jews. By Arab Islamic culture, if it is not dominated and controlled by an Arab Islamic regime then it is an occupation.
The so called nakba is the result of you great grandparents opening a genocidal war and unexpectedly loosing, shamefully to Jews that your culture hates and defames so much.
FYI many more Jews fled from Arab areas to Israel and became refugees than Arabs who fled from Israeli controlled areas, yet Arab cherish and inherit that refugee status for keeping the flame of war while the Jewish refugees moved on.
