  6.  @shanenolan5625  The Ottoman empire (1516-1917) did not have any geographical/political/admirative entity by the title Palestine, nor did the Mukluk empire (1250-1516) before the Ottomans, nor did the Crusaders (1099-1250). The Islamic empires did have a military region titled Filastin inherited from the eastern Roman empire, most of it in Transjordan and partly around Jezrael valley. That title was reimposed by GB after WW1. The process of Arabs appropriating the title Palestinians was initiated in 1966.
