Hamas opened war the and toppled the PLO in Gaza (also literally toppled PLO officials of tall buildings rooftops). Hamas is the government that manages Gaza strip ever since. Hamas still wins majority of votes in all surveys (Maybe after this weeks results Hamas will loose the position of peoples favorite ).

Ground convoys protect themself and react to any shot at the convoy with a reaction that ensures the elimination of the attackers. Air operation is done with precision bomb or missile that are guided by GPS or Laser beam with meters accuracy. The drawback of air operations is that they do destroy rocket launchers but they rarely eliminate those who operate the rocket launcher, so their number keeps growing, until a ground operation is inevitable.

  13.  @wakarrizvi6613  Stop pretending those Islamist organizations are not terror organizations that launch rockets from populated residential areas on purpose fully aware the IDF will have to destroy these rocket launchers. Residents know the locations of rocket launchers in their neighborhoods, the residents also hear the noise the rockets make when they are launched. The IDF declares it is going to operate, sends SMS warnings to residents, throws a small smoke bomb to knock on the roof as warning and only after 15 minutes releases a real bomb, a GPS or Laser accurately guided bomb (that costs millions thousands times more expensive than the rockets targeting cities randomly the terror organization use. No other army subjects itself to such limiting rules of engagement. Other middle east armies often operate under the opposite rules, see Syria.
