@carnivorewitch 500,000-700,000 Arabs fled and became refugees (Including those who did not cross a border to another country and therefore do not match the category of refugees). 900,000-1,000,000 Jews fled from Arab Countries into Israel and became refugees (to ~120 refugee camp) their descendants make the majority of Israelis. You don’t hear about the refugees who fled to Israel, Israel has absorbed those incoming refugees, while the Arab countries for the most part did not, they use them as a political tool (a common cause, a unifying topic, a diversion from poverty, poor health care, poor education and corrupt governments). All refugees should get compensation, note that overwhelming majority of Jews were city dwellers, hence their lost property worth is much higher, in addition to them being higher in number, a reason for Arab regimes to object to reparations. Over 100 million people were refugees on the 20th century, they all have moved on, except for those Arabs of Palestine/Israel, who are kept a refugee status by Arab countries, UNRWA and their own political leaders.

Why is there genocide in Darfur? Why are Druze keeping secluded and secretive about their religion? Why did Shia need taqiya? Why were Catholics slaughtering protestants and vice versa? Why were Albigenses, Anabaptists, Mennonites, Calvinists, Puritans, Mormons, Huguenots, Bogomils, Amish, Mormons all persecuted? And that's just a partial list. Which makes one appreciate Jews who endured ~3300 years.
